This Privacy Policy explains how Codemitra (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal and learning data of student users in compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).

It applies only to the Codemitra learning platform and related web services.

We do not run any advertisements, promotional messages, or sponsored content on Codemitra.

When you register or use Codemitra, we may collect the following limited personal data:

• Gender
• Grade
• State

No other personal details are collected or required.

• Your nickname and email are stored in encrypted form in secure servers located in India.

Data in transit is protected using SSL/TLS encryption.

We do not share any personal data with anyone, including schools, advertisers, or third parties.

Your nickname, gender, grade, and state are visible only to you and not to any other student or user.

If you are under 18 years of age, you must obtain parental or guardian consent before creating an account or using Codemitra.

Codemitra does not use any third-party cookies or tracking technologies.

We do not collect, request, or store any photos, videos, or camera data from students.

We store data generated by students during use of the platform, such as:

• Lesson completion progress
• Quiz results
• Selected options and interactions

This information is stored securely and used solely to provide your learning experience.

Examples: Which quiz option you selected, how long you spent on an activity, etc.

This is recorded to help you resume activities and view progress.

We do not send promotional or marketing emails to students.

We will contact you only if absolutely necessary for account-related purposes (e.g., password reset).

Learning data is derived from your activity on Codemitra and is used to improve the learning experience of the platform.

This data does not contain any personally identifiable information (PII) and is never shared externally.

Cookies:

• Used only to maintain session and login information.

We do not use third-party cookies or cross-site trackers.

• You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
• Upon verified request, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
• If your account remains inactive for 24 months, it may be anonymized or purged.
